Are you ready for the Holidays?
Whether you are ready yet or not, the Holidays are here! There are still a couple of days left to pick up another last minute gift, but you better get out there quickly. If you keep your head up, you might just run into me out there...
Since I still have some shopping to do, I am going to keep this week's newsletter short and sweet.
We all know that preparing for the Christmas holiday can be a little stressful. Buying gifts can be stressful. Wrapping those gifts can be exhausting. So can preparing the holiday meal. Or even juggling the schedule to see all of the important people in your life.
More importantly, everyone needs to remember that this time of year can be even more challenging for some people. Challenging in ways that you may not be aware of. Some people may be grieving the loss of a close friend or family member, and sharing the first holiday without them. Some people may be stressed out about seeing family members that they don't necessarily get along with anymore. Some people may not have anyone to spend the day with.
To make the Holidays the best that we can for EVERYONE that we come in contact with, I encourage everyone to focus on giving the gift of kindness and empathy to everyone whom they cross paths with throughout the holiday season.
(To be honest, we should be doing this regardless of whether it is the Christmas season or not.)
Happy Holidays from all of us at Freedom Chiropractic & Rehab!
