What A Crazy Month!
Late last week one of our patients, who also happens to be a member of Freedom Strength told me about a conversation that she was having with a friend. Her friend was asking her about why she was doing strength training. Our patient told her friend about her osteopenia, which is when the bones weaken but have not yet reached the point of being osteoporotic.
Strength training is the best type of exercise to combat the demineralization of the bones!
This is just one reason why strength training is so important as we age!
