I cannot believe that I forgot to talk about this last week. I was so excited to have had the McDaniel students here that I totally forgot to tell you about our trip to LAS VEGAS!!! It sounds like so much fun right?!?! Well we went there for a seminar... (Not as much fun now is it!)
We went out to Vegas to attend the world famous Parker Seminars. Dr. Carol's mentor, Dr. Bill Morgan, who is the president of Parker University, is the man who is in charge of putting this amazing seminar together. This is the largest chiropractic seminar in the world, and to be honest in 16 years of practice, I have never attended these seminars. This year was different though... Why was it different? Craig Liebenson and Stuart McGill were both presenting on the same weekend, and in the same place! How could I pass that up? You probably have no idea who they are... and most non-chiropractors would be wondering the same thing. They are two people who have had a profound impact on our practice. If you have done ANY exercises in our office, then you have probably learned from them too! Every time that I get to see them, I take home at least a nugget or two of wisdom! What does that mean for you? It means you can probably expect to see some new exercises in the coming weeks!
The seminar was attended by 3600 chiropractors, from all over the world, and as famous as Drs. Liebenson and McGill are in the chiropractic world, they could not hold a candle to the keynote speakers... The opening keynote speaker was Daymond John, from Shark Tank, and the closing keynote speaker was... Cal Ripken Jr. We even got to meet Cal!
What a great event, and great opportunity to learn from some giants in our field!
