Looking Forward to 2021!
Happy New Year! Every year for this particular newsletter the message is the same. This simple exercise, that many of us overlook as we approach a new year, can truly have an impact on your future!
During this week between Christmas and New Years', our schedules all seem to slow down a little. That inevitable time off allows me to create some time in my schedule to do two very important things. This exercise can be as long or as short as you would like it to be. However, remember that more time put into the exercise will often provide more benefit and insight.
The first thing that I do is reflect on the year that just passed. Obviously, 2020 was a crazy, chaotic year. What were the "wins" that you and your family experienced in 2020? What did you learn from the lessons that 2020 taught you? How can those lessons help you have a better year in 2021?
The second step is to look at setting some goals for the upcoming year. As a general rule it is important to take more time looking forward than you spend looking back. What are you looking to accomplish in 2021? What is your focus in the new year? What are the steps or habits that will help you reach those goals?
I would love to hear what the year 2020 taught you and any goals that you want to share!
Movement is my medicine,
