Dr. Carol and I are starting a new project in the office. We just launched The Easel Project. You are probably wondering "What the heck is The Easel Project?" The idea is to share our thoughts, our questions, our challenges for you, and some quotes that we think are relevant and helpful! Hopefully, these things will create conversation to change some people's thought processes and allow us to answer more of your questions.
I came across this tweet from Hal Higdon, a very well known running coach, and it was worth sharing (hint you may have seen it on The Easel yesterday) The tweet read:
"When Real Life interferes, sometimes you can juggle schedules to maintain momentum; other times you need to sigh and skip the workout."
I could not agree more with this statement! You all know that I will advocate for making time to exercise every day, but some days that is just NOT POSSIBLE. On those days it needs to be OK to skip your exercises, BUT make sure to get back on the horse the next day!
