Weight Control and Super Heroes?
Recently, in an online discussion about weight control, a friend of mine pointed out a very simple way that they explain the process to their clients. They simply state that "Diet is Batman, and exercise is Robin." That superhero analogy explains it all!
The take-away message from this very simple explanation is that when it comes to weight control, our diet and our nutritional choices need, and deserve, to be our primary focus. Changes to our dietary habits are capable of, and likely will do, all of the heavy lifting in the weight control battle. However, the battle becomes much easier if we are able to add a sidekick (exercise) to the equation!
Dietary choices, alone, may be able to "save Gotham City" for many of us. However, for some of us, we will require help from the sidekick of exercise.
Remember that regardless of whether you need Robin or not, "saving Gotham City" is always much easier if you have help from that sidekick!
Now go out there and be the hero that Gotham needs!
