What Lights Your Fire?
Last week we talked about how pain is like the check engine light in your car, and this week I want to share another analogy that I use in the office to explain the process of pain to our patients. I got a lot of good feedback on last week's video so I figured that I would use video again this week to explain another aspect of pain.
This week we will talk a little about trying to figure out what people do during the day (without being aware) that can contribute to ongoing pain. Once those actions that trigger the pain are discovered, we can work to find ways to eliminate them from your day. After the triggers are eliminated, the intensity and frequency of the pain symptoms should decrease too!
Seems pretty simple right???
