You Are What You EatOver the past several weeks we have been hearing a lot of questions about nutrition. Some of the questions have focused on weight loss, but some have been asking about using nutrition to enhance performance, and others are asking about food allergies. Now, I understand a lot of the basics of nutrition, but it is not my specialty... So I reached out to a friend of mine who is! Rather than work as the middle man, I asked Steve Weatherholt, a nutrition coach with Blackbird Nutrition, to come in and give a presentation to answer all of our patient's questions!
Coach Weatherholt has given me an outline of his nutrition recommendations for me, and I have been following it for about a week now. (He also gave Dr. Carol some recommendations as well, and she has been following it too!) I have to say that the plan is not difficult to follow, but does require some planning and effort to follow.
